[ 6/2022 ] Aiming for Fun

Centurion field staff were on target for June’s team building outing at Warrington Sporting Clays in Wellsville, PA. Employees took their shot at bragging rights across 10 adventure stations with different size clays including rabbit clays that roll and bounce along the ground. Leading the pack on this 50 clay course were the Bartram’s, Cole (33 clays) and Ralph (32 clays). Way to go guys!!

[ 6/2022 ] Morgan Sterner – Project Administrator

We are excited to welcome Morgan Sterner to the Centurion team! As Project Administrator, Morgan assists in managing the small details of our projects with great accuracy. Her attention to detail and care for others allows her to help the company in many ways. Morgan’s role is critical in ensuring that each project is completed within budget and schedule. Her experience in business management, reception and coaching has equipped her with variety of skills essential to this position.

[ 6/2022 ] Playing for a Cause

June has been a busy month of swinging on by the the golf courses to support local organizations that have a positive impact in our communities and work force.

On Monday June 6th, Centurion Construction participated in Member’s 1st Annual Golf Outing at Hershey Country Club. The golf outing was a benefit for the following organizations The Salvation Army of Harrisburg, Helping Harvest, Aaron’s Acres and Central PA Food Bank. Participating in the event was Nate Book, Brett Garman, Aaron Leighow, and Justin Shoemaker from Landmark Commercial Realty. Centurion was a Platinum Sponsor in this year’s event.  

On Tuesday June 7th, Centurion Construction participated in an outing held at Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon PA on June 7th, for ABC Keystone Chapter. The event helps raise money for ABC’s apprenticeship program as well as ABC’s PAC program. Centurion was a hole sponsor and attending was Scott D’Orazio, Troy Clark, me and Todd Radel from Pennsy Supply (not pictured).

[ 5/2022 ] Teaming Up to Fight Cancer

On May 26th Centurion was proud to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through its attendance and hole sponsorship during their golf outing benefit. The event was held at the Armitage Golf Course in Mechanicsburg, and honored the society’s selection of man and woman of the year. Participation from Centurion included David Olmsted and Aaron Leighow, along with Douglas Graby from the Mula Group. It was a great day of golf and an even greater day celebrating the hard work and dedication of the many men and women fighting blood cancer!!

[ 5/2022 ] Project Progress at Godshall’s Quality Meats

We are making moves in May on our industrial food process addition! It’s been an exciting journey partnering with Godshall’s Quality Meats to add on a 50,526 sq. ft. meat processing area, 10,000 sq. ft. second floor for administration, and a 10,000 sq. ft. third floor for future expansion. Zooming in, preparations have begun to enclose the building as we finish up the structural steel and pour all the concrete slabs.

We made our own sunshine this past rainy Sunday at the Harrisburg Senator’s game! We love spending time with our Centurion family having fun & making memories, that’s what truly matters ⚾

[ 04/2022 ] Zach Houck – Project Manager

Centurion is pleased to announce the promotion of, Zach Houck, from superintendent to the role of project manager.

With 18 years field experience within the construction industry Zach brings with him a broad range of skills. For the past 7 years he has worked with in every market sector at Centurion as a superintendent. His familiarity with our onsite processes is an asset to his new role as project manager. Zach places a high value on our client center approach and looks forward to working more directly with customers. For him it isn’t just about implementing the means and methods needed to complete their project, it is about bringing a client’s dream and vision to life.

[ 04/2022 ] Troy Hossler – Project Manager

Centurion is pleased to introduce the newest member of our team, Troy Hossler, fulfilling the role of project manager.

Troy is well-rounded with over 20 years of experience in renovations/restorations, residential homes, residential multi-family homes, and commercial construction. He has a diverse background in the construction industry working in numerous roles within the industry throughout his career. His desire to meet high standards and understand client’s needs is a driving force in his work ethic. Troy holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College.

Our team knows how to work hard & play hard! Superintendents, Scott Baum & Matt Deveney went home with bragging rights and a set of our 10-year anniversary cornhole boards for snagging the gold at our monthly team building activity. We love getting the office & field staff together for food and a bit of friendly competition.
