Historic King Mansion is the ideal location for any classy celebration.  Its urban, downtown Harrisburg, Pa. riverside setting is perfect for photos and is conveniently located near several local attractions within walking distance. The mansion’s architecture features a unique limestone facade and columns, spacious balconies, and exquisite terracotta tile details. Its aesthetic embraces a touch of Tuscany and establishes Historic King Mansion as a memorable icon amidst traditional historic properties in the Central Pennsylvania region. To better accommodate guests, they have partnered with Centurion for a third-floor renovation project that will transform the space into 3 luxurious bed and breakfast apartments. The renovation will begin in late 2023 to early 2024 and will include adding an elevator, upgrading sprinkler system, adding new windows, and renovating the third floor in its entirety.

JPL Demo & Reno

JPL Integrated Communications offers brand strategy and marketing solutions and was given a unique opportunity to better their facility when the Route 283 expansion encroached upon their building. Centurion will perform a 9,000 sq ft building demo from the 62,000 sq ft structure, a new exterior wall construction, interior renovation and fit out. JPL will maintain daily operations throughout the renovation process.

  • Building and selective demo

Centurion has partnered with Illuminated Integration – Audio, Video, Lighting Company for design-build services for their new headquarters. The design was completed by CDA (Chris Dawson Architect) out of Harrisburg, PA.

Phase 1 consists of Land Development Pre-Construction Services to include all site work, stormwater, HOP road widening, paving, landscaping, exterior concrete, and patio space to allow for future phases through value engineering work conducted with the owner. The construction of the PEMB Trade Shop/Office Area consists of roughly 10,609 SF +/-. Within the Trade Shop/Office space various partnership value engineering efforts have been conducted to bring the overall project costs down to align with current and future business needs.

Phase 2 will consist of constructing a 1-story PEMB end wall expansion totaling 4,821 SF of additional Trade Shop space for future growth and a 2-story office space (in current design) adjacent to the Trade Shop/Office space if the needs align with current business growth.

Scope of Work:

  • New build
  • The project consists of a pre-manufactured metal building that will house both the trade shop and office functions spread across two floors.
    • 1st Floor: vestibule/welcome/waiting area, all glass conference room, kitchen/breakroom area, showroom, restrooms, integration space and trade shop area
    • 2nd Floor: office space, open mezzanine seating area, design sales, conference room, restrooms and design studio overlooking trade shop space below

Fresh Express Harrisburg location values safety and security. They partnered with Centurion to make improvements to their points of entry on their premises with the overall goal of creating a more secure space for employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Scope of Work:

  • Adding an ornamental security fence, security turnstile, and canopy
  • Removing and replacing a long section of sidewalk
  • Adding a concrete pad for the security area, installing new bollards
  • Reconfiguration of the adjacent parking area line striping

The project was completed in early November 2022. The scope of work involved updating outdated finishes throughout the building giving it a refreshed, modern, and more aesthetically pleasing look. Old wallpaper, carpet, ceiling tiles, light fixtures, and signage were removed. The existing walls were refinished throughout the building and painted along with all trim, doors, and door frames. Old carpet was replaced with new carpet and luxury vinyl planks. New ceiling tiles were installed throughout. New LED ceiling light panels and recessed lights were installed throughout as well. Overall, this branch was transformed and refreshed to meet our client’s highest standards.

Penske Truck Leasing has partnered with Centurion for another project, making this our third.  After completing previous construction projects in York, PA and Annapolis Junction, MD, Penske has hired Centurion for a design-build at their Jessup, PA rental and truck service location.  The design will include new construction to expand both their office space and maintenance shop area, as well a provide a full redesign and renovation of their existing office space, break room, and locker rooms.  The existing maintenance shop will be outfitted with new high efficiency LED lighting and gas monitoring.  Outside the building will be redesigned and regraded to accommodate the new additions as well as a replacement fuel island and additional truck parking.  The entire building will receive a fresh coat of paint, inside and out.

Centurion has proudly to completed a renovation and addition to one of  the Penske Maryland locations. This project required the demolition of an existing portion of the building and then a 3,800 SF addition including two drive through bays within the shop area.  Their office space, break room, and locker rooms has been fully renovated. A new layout was drawn up with a selection of all new finishes and upgrades to high efficiency LED lighting were made in the shop bays. The entire facility will received a refresh with all new interior paint.

Member’s First Federal Credit Union is partnering with Centurion Construction, once again, on an interior and exterior renovation for their newest branch located in Macungie, PA. Renovations to the existing 3,000 SF space formally Key Bank to include selective demolition, new layout for the office, teller line, workroom, bathrooms, breakroom spaces. New millwork for teller line, workroom, and breakroom with plastic laminated tops, solid surface tops. New finishes include drywall, ceilings, painting and flooring. All new LED lighting on the interior and devices. Exterior work will include EIFS patchwork, new paint scheme, and LED lighting. New rear patio/sidewalk concrete with privacy fence, and fresh landscaping my M1st rounds out the scope of work on this newest M1st Branch in Lehigh County.

AMES – Carlisle, PA

The project is the complete renovation of a 1500 SF break room.  The new layout will include separate spaces for a mother’s room and a reflection room.  The mother’s room, intended for nursing mother’s will be a secure room that includes a sink, countertop space and a refrigerator just for the new moms! The reflection room will provide a quiet space for those needing a little time to themselves.  The main area of the breakroom will be outfitted with new cabinets and countertops accommodating (6) microwave stations, 2 large refrigerators, an ice machine and sink.  The space will also offer use for trainings as it will be equipped with an overhead projector and large screen and multiple TV locations.  The space will be finished with LVT tile in the breakroom and a warmer carpet tile in the mother’s and reflection rooms.

The existing warehouse deck ceiling will also be lowered utilizing a new suspended ACT ceiling, providing both aesthetic and acoustical improvements.  New lighting, HVAC and fire protection will complete the space giving added comfort and safety.

On the other end of the warehouse, we will be modifying the existing office layout to create a separate waiting area for visitors.  This space will come off of a secure vestibule and provide a comfortable waiting area away from the hustle of their busy office.

The spaces will be finished with LVT tile in the breakroom and a warmer carpet tile in the waiting room, mother’s and reflection rooms, while the vestibule will be finished with walk-off carpet The existing warehouse deck ceiling will also be lowered utilizing a new suspended ACT ceiling, providing both aesthetic and acoustical improvements.  New lighting, HVAC and fire protection will complete the space.
