On September 17th, Centurion hosted a Partner Appreciation Cornhole Tournament to celebrate our 10-year anniversary! We had an incredible afternoon of food, fun and networking as a thank you to our clients and business partners for the parts they’ve played in our success.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to enjoy the day with us!
The competition was stiff but after watching them play a round or two, it was no surprise that team ‘Hole Hunters’, Jess (M&T Bank) and Doug (Coldwell Banker), would go on to win the tournament and the top prizes of the evening! Team ‘Good Ames’, Jacob and Steve from The AMES Companies, took second place and team ‘GSD’, Christopher (McNees, Wallace & Nurick) and Jamie (CAEDC), rounded out the top three.
We extend an extra ‘thank you’ to Vicki and our friends at Crostwater Distilled Spirits for catering the event!

Congratulations to Lisa Cool on her 10-year anniversary with Centurion this month!
Lisa Cool is the definition of the word “foundation” when it comes to Centurion. Lisa has provided consistency, accuracy, diligence, and organization to Centurion that is unparalleled in today’s industry or culture. Thank you, Lisa, for your unwavering dedication and love for this company and all our employees. We are grateful for the monumental part you have contributed to the success of our first 10 years. We love you and thank you.
In September of 2021, Centurion Construction Group, LLC officially celebrates our 10-year anniversary! Centurion was founded in 2011 by Nate Book and Ralph Bartram with the mission of providing consistency and integrity to the construction industry. Our core values of service and gratitude have remained consistent since inception and are the foundation of our success.
Centurion’s story begins in a tiny basement office where Nate, Ralph, and Lisa are making phone calls with the sounds of children running around in the background. 3 years later, after completing extensive renovations to what is now our office building, Centurion was officially settled in our new home on Industrial Drive in Lewisberry, where we still conduct business today.
Among our achievements are two consecutive appearances on Central Penn Business Journal’s list of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Central PA in 2019 and 2020 and being recognized as the Emerging Business of the Year in 2015. Our most treasured successes come in the form of positive feedback and repeat business from our clients and our ability to, because of our success, consistently give back to, and serve, countless faith-based organizations in the community.
In a recent ‘Thank You’ letter to our employees published in our company newsletter, CEO, Nate Book, had this to say:
“What does 10 years mean? I asked my children this question and they said, “Wow! That is a really long time!” I asked myself and thought, “Wow! That seems like the blink of an eye.” Our perspectives on time can vary greatly depending on our age, our season of life… Upon reflecting and digging deeper, I have become even more grateful; to God, to our spouses and families that support us, and to the amazing men and women of Centurion.
… by far the coolest thing has been watching each one of you grow professionally and personally. I believe your continued steps to individual greatness is the sole reason for Centurion’s success.
We are at a critical time as a company, industry, country, and society. We are navigating changes and issues that we had not necessarily encountered in our past. We all see it, know it, and feel it. The reason we will successfully navigate all of it is because of you: the employees of Centurion. “
Additionally, we would like to sincerely thank our remarkable clients and business partners for continuing to put your trust in Centurion. We absolutely couldn’t have achieved this milestone without you.
Centurion Construction has been acknowledged as #76 of the Top 100 Private Companies in Central Pennsylvania and #15 of the Top Private Companies in York County, ranked by total revenue, in Central Penn Business Journal’s list published in August. We are grateful for our continued growth and are appreciative of the recognition.
