Precision Cut – Renovations & Additions

Having operated as a foundry under previous ownership, this building was worn and needed attention. Centurion came up with a plan, working with the owner to completely renovate, restore, clean and practically make brand new this now 24,000 square foot building while maintaining plant production at all times. Our scope on this project included engineering, design, permitting, roofing, siding and insulation replacement, a 5,000 PSI Concrete topping, (1) new breakroom, (4) bathroom renovations, ventilation, heating and electrical upgrades, numerous site improvements to include paving and loading dock upgrades, new 800 square foot and 1,900 square foot additions.

MKT – New Headquarters

Centurion had a great experience working with MKT Manufacturing on this project to design and construct a two-story, 6,000 square foot office for their new headquarters location. MKT is a growing company with great ownership, and we felt honored to have been awarded the contract. This project displays a great combination of a floor plan and finishes that are professional, functional, and architectural, while at the same time durable and efficient to stand up to the daily manufacturing needs.

Industrial Wire Mesh (IWM) – Hanover, PA – Plant Renovations

IWM approached Centurion with the need to renovate their existing plant for the purpose of moving existing / installing new manufacturing equipment.

Phase I of the project involved a new 1,250 square foot, two (2) bay loading dock addition with concrete ramp and associated walls. Interior renovations included the removal of a 2,700 square foot raised slab area, removal and modifications to the existing load-bearing wall, and replacement of 2,700 square foot slab on grade and demolition / modification to the roofing system.

In the existing building, Centurion removed and replaced a 2,400 square foot deteriorated concrete slab on grade and removed a 2,800 square foot wood truss and beam flooring system in the adjacent building, replaced with structural fill and concrete slab on grade.

Ames True Temper – Plant Renovations

Centurion believes strongly in American manufacturing and it is a great privilege for us to be part of improving and expanding one of our nation’s and world’s leading manufacturing facilities.

Centurion has constructed an 11,000 square foot machine shop, a 6,000 square foot Research and Development Lab, a 6,000 square foot Quality Assurance lab and multiple other upgrade projects for Ames’s break-room, presidential office suite, conference rooms, dust collection, welding and painting booth systems, and miscellaneous equipment foundations.
