Daybreak Church – Campus Student Ministries
Location: Lewisberry, PA SF: 4,600 Grace Baptist Church has partnered with Centurion to further modify their existing property to better serve their congregation and community. With their continued membership growth and expanded offerings to their community, a need for a large gathering area has become essential for them. With input from the church leadership and design guidance from the Centurion team. We were able to transform an area with multiple small, limited-use rooms into an opening gathering place of approximately 4,600 SF. Centurion was able to provide Grace Baptist with architectural, structural, and mechanical guidance though the planning stages. Our renderings and concept drawings allowed their leadership and congregation to visualize the project and bring life to their ideas. It will be complete with a kitchenette to help facilitate banquets and other meal gatherings and be complete with all new finishes, new high efficiency lighting and VRV heating and cooling. The new space will be used for large group meetings and events, banquets, social gatherings, classes, and more. Scope of Work:
Grace Baptist Church
At Centurion we understand the power of influence a physical space holds. Functionality and aesthetics can amplify or deflate the purpose of an environment. When we were presented with the opportunity to assist in amplifying the mission and vision of Christian Life Assembly through a “give back” renovation project, we were more than happy to accept. Christian Life Assembly based in Camp Hill, PA needed help to improve their children’s ministry space. So “God’s Big Backyard” was created, a kid’s zone area and a space for nursing mothers. Renovated classrooms and re-conceptualized bathroom spaces were brought to life with energetic colors and calming baby hues to welcome all ages of little ones!

In May of 2017, Bloomsburg Christian Church contacted Centurion Construction to review a new property that was going to be purchased for their church plant Catawissa Christian Church. Over the following months in collaboration with their Building Committee we developed the design and budget for the renovation project. There were many interesting hurdles to overcome in converting an existing bank into a new church home, but we thrive in engaging challenges!

Construction was completed on the new, 5,800 SF Worship / Classroom Building for the Newberrytown Church of God as of October of 2017 with an Opening Service on Sunday, November 12, 2017 to a packed house! With all of the challenges involving the regulatory / permitting requirements at the beginning of the project Centurion feels lucky to have been involved on a project with such a cooperative team and customer to allow us to complete the project by the originally specified date, despite two (2) months of delays at the beginning of the project.

The mission of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Greater York is “A Home for You, A Light for the World.” We are privileged to partner with them to further their efforts to provide quality, Christian-based education through the construction of a 21,900 square foot building. The new addition will house:

Daybreak Church chose to partner with Centurion for renovations of their Gettysburg Pike Campus in Mechanicsburg, PA. This is the second renovation project undertaken by our team for this ministry.
